He WON the battle so that we could be ONE in Him. Jesus last words and prayer for His diciples and for all future disciples was that they would be ONE "that the world may believe" and "know" that He has sent us - - - when they see HIS love in us. John 17 /1 Sam.17 ***IT IS RECOMMENDED TO BEGIN READING AT BLOG 1***

I was born in South Africa to missionary parents. I lived there until the age of 13. In 1974, I moved with my family to Escondido, California to be with relatives I had never met. I missed my friends in South Africa, but having relatives was so great. They were so good to me. I also quickly made new friends. I had a fairy tale life. Later, when I grew up, I opened Pandora's box and learned that almost everything I had believed was not true. I could not unlearn what I had now learned. It broke my heart, but I had to be true to what I saw to be true. It was that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh and that He came to the earth and died in my place to give me an eternal relationship with Him. Nothing on earth is as important as this to me. But It cost me everything.
